It's a live stage show that looks like an old time radio show. Nostalgic yet off-beat, Citrus Valley Playhouse celebrates and spoofs the Arizona experience through sketch comedy, live music, audience interaction, a quiz show, prizes, and much more. The musicians, actors, and special guests are Arizona's best.

Brian Nissen left the frozen winters of Michigan for the sunny climes of Mesa when he was fourteen years old. By the time he graduated from Westwood High School, he was completely thawed out. Later, he received a bachelor’s degree in theatre from Northern Arizona University and a Master’s degree in Acting from the California Institute of the Arts where his one-act play, Oscar, won the American College theatre festival’s national short play award. He also wrote the screenplay for the animated musical “The Swan Princess” and both of its sequels. In addition to many stage appearances, he has done extensive voice acting. Brian and his wife, Maria, returned to Arizona a few years ago with their five children. They are currently trying not to melt.
